Inclement Weather / School Closure
Please note the following notice (in bold) that is currently on the front page of the district website: www.sd41.bc.ca
On occasion, it may be necessary to close Burnaby public schools for instruction due to inclement weather. If this should happen, an announcement will be posted on the front page of the district website and information provided to local media* outlets by 6 am. It is important for schools and the district to keep their phone lines free for emergency purposes so please do not call the schools or the district office for this information.
